Hi all, my name is Vicki Moran. Back in my early days as a wee little human, I loved the idea that I could build a circuit and make cool things happen (anyone remember this guy?). Since then, I’ve refined my technical skills a bit by learning a few tricks from some smart people, working on lots of fun projects (most of which ended in disaster, but I’ve heard failure is the best teacher), and somehow landing a job that actually trusts me to do real work that ends up in the real world and has real impacts. And after going through all of that, I’m proud to say that I still rarely know what I’m doing. But now that I’ve solved a few tough problems and made some solid contributions, I’m confident in my abilities as an electrical engineer. This self-assurance comes not from any delusions that I know everything I’ll ever need to know, but rather from my love for learning and desire to constantly grow and evolve. So I’m ready to take on some big problems and make my mark on this world.
